Interfaith Dialogue and Non-Violent Communication Program Our Interfaith Dialogue and Non-Violent Communication
Program provides a mechanism for Nigerian faith based organizations and
individuals to be effectively engaged in the generation of
religion-inspired conceptions and practices of development that
ultimately result in social, economic, cultural and spiritual prosperity
of the citizens.
The Program is committed to promoting enduring, daily interfaith
cooperation and to ending religiously motivated violence. A major
component of this program is the Annual International Conference on Interfaith Dialogue and Non-Violent Communication.
Through these annual interfaith conferences, youth, with international
adult mentors successfully engage face to face, applying new tools of
communication and creativity to then take back home to their schools,
communities, and nations. Challenging, practical workshop provide the
"how-to" for citizens to create and sustain our collective social
existence beginning with youth and faith that works in real life.
Through dialogue by conference participants, we have demonstrated that
"an enemy is one whose story we have not heard."
